We are pleased to share that under captainship of Miss Urooj Zahid, a highly talented volleyball player of GCWUF and HEC Ambassador for national level volleyball matches, HEC Women Volleyball Team has won its first pool match in the 34th National Games Quetta 2023. The team has qualified for semi-finals. Three other players from GCWUF, Maliha Saleem, Minahil Jabeen, and Aqsa Siddique are also a part of HEC National Women Volleyball team. Vice Chancellor GCWUF, Professor Dr. Robina Farooq ( T.I), has congratulated D.G. Sports in HEC, Mr. Javed Ali Memon, on players' wonderful performance. She appreciated Urooj Zahid for her dynamic sports and leadership skills and congratulated the team on its initial success. Registrar GCWUF, Mr. Asif A. Malik, declared this success a result of persistence and hardwork of our enthusiastic team players under the guidance of Director Sports, Ms. Fahmida Ayyub, and HEC professionals.
